This study demonstrates that freezing PLA powder at 0°C and maintaining the
environment’s temperature at the same level effectively reduces its stickiness and
improves flowability. Incorporating vibration enhances the consistency of
powder flow, addressing common challenges in rapid prototyping processes.
These findings pave the way for designing efficient handling systems for
PLA powder in powder-based RP applications.
