This study successfully fabricated Au-Ag dealloyed nanorod SERS substrates using
co-sputtering and selective chemical etching, showcasing enhanced sensitivity,
stability, and uniformity for molecular detection. The increased surface
roughness and gold atom availability on the dealloyed substrates significantly
improved the SERS enhancement factor to 1.5×10⁶. These findings highlight the
potential of the Au-Ag dealloyed substrates as reliable and efficient tools
for advanced SERS applications.
